GAYLE ACKROYD - Vocals/ GuitarGayle’s passion for songwriting and playing guitar are evident in the eight albums of original music she has recorded and released. Has been in hundreds of films as both an extra and an actress. Sang on the Bolero Cruise ship for Regent Holidays. Has shared the stage as a guest singer with Jeff Healy, Jack DeKeyser, James Gordon, Jimmy Rankin, Robbie Lane and many more well loved Canadians. Her attention is now focused on learning classic covers by her favourite female singers, fronting and writing the rock and blues music of the Speed River Band.

 

ED MILLER - Drums / VocalsEd played with “Major Hoople’s Boarding House” who had hit records with “I’m Running After You” and “You Girl”. Prior to that he worked with Kelly Jay of Crowbar fame in Calgary. He also played with Bobby Curtola touring Canada and played in Las Vegas at “The Sands Hotel”. He spent some time playing with “Jack London and The Sparrows” in the Yorkville Village days.

 

RICHIE SARLO - GuitarThis extraordinary guitar player has been at it since he was 9 years old. His passion for playing, and recording caught the notice of Bo Diddly, Phil Sussan of Ozzy Osbourne band, Roger Kapps who is Pat Benetar’s bass player and co-writer, John-Luc Ponty who is violinist for Frank Zappa all of whom he played with and on albums for in LA and toured the United States of America. He has also worked with numerous Canadians like Moe Berg pre-Pursuit of Happiness, country artist Paul Weber and many more.

 

BRENDAN SOMERVILLE- Bass/ VocalsBassist Brendan Somerville found his calling in music from a young age, starting with piano. His music journey has since led him to bass and guitar. For years he's been part of the music scene in the Tri-City area - gigging, recording, and juggling multiple bands. His biggest influences include Radiohead, Them Crooked Vultures, and Queen, setting the groundwork for his solid bass lines and creative flexibility.
